I’m TR Burns. I built Church Krew, and I want to tell you plainly why the core is free.

In Scripture the firstfruits were never what was left over at the end of the harvest. They were the first and the best, set apart and given before anyone knew how the rest of the year would turn out. You gave first. You trusted God with what came after.

This is our First Fruit offering.

The free core isn’t a stripped-down sample built to get you through the door. It’s the whole thing — your people, your giving, your services, your website, your communications, your team’s home base. The best work we have, given to the local church first, before this company is established and before I know how our own harvest turns out.

I could have built the funnel instead. Free up to a hundred members, then a bill. Put fund accounting behind the highest tier, because once a church’s books are in your software it can’t leave. That is the going model and it works. It just isn’t what I wanted to have built.

So there is no member cap, no trial clock and no card required — not for the twenty-member house church, not for the two-thousand-member campus. If Church Krew serves your ministry and you’re able to give something back, there’s a contribution link and it keeps the lights on for the next church plant. If you can’t, use it anyway. That isn’t a loophole we tolerate. That is the offering.

The Gospel was never put behind a paywall. Neither are the tools for spreading it.
